How to get a good business headshot...

A lot of my clients are local business people looking for business headshots that not only look good, but also give people a sense of what type of personality they have.

One client for instance, is an elder care lawer, who was concerned about appearing too "hard-edge" to her clients. She wanted images that showed how approachable and friendly she was to work with.

Another client wanted pretty basic shots of all his staff that conveyed the sense of their professionalism.

Then you get the type of client like my good friend, local "fashionista", Kathy Friend, who really want to show people both professional and lighthearted images that truly represent who they are.

Think about the message you want to convey to your potential clients. And take it from me, the best thing you can do is to RELAX during your photo session. This will erase a lot of the bad things that appear in standard photos!
Kathy Friend, has great tips on her blog today about what to wear for your business headshot.

You forgot to add the 2 most important things:
1. Call Cathy Dietz to take the photos - no one else, only Dietz!

and

2. Call Kathy Friend to be the wardrobe stylist for your pro-shoot!
