Mommy to be...
Well, I just heard that Hether's little one won't be coming for at least another week. Had a great time hanging out yesterday! Never a dull moment :) You'll see her munching on a can of cheddar cheese Pringles in one pic... She called me as I was heading out the door and BEGGED me to pick them up for her, HA!

How to get a good business headshot...
A lot of my clients are local business people looking for business headshots that not only look good, but also give people a sense of what type of personality they have.
One client for instance, is an elder care lawer, who was concerned about appearing too "hard-edge" to her clients. She wanted images that showed how approachable and friendly she was to work with.
Another client wanted pretty basic shots of all his staff that conveyed the sense of their professionalism.
Then you get the type of client like my good friend, local "fashionista", Kathy Friend, who really want to show people both professional and lighthearted images that truly represent who they are.
Think about the message you want to convey to your potential clients. And take it from me, the best thing you can do is to RELAX during your photo session. This will erase a lot of the bad things that appear in standard photos!

New Happenings in 2009!
Geeze, I can't believe it's been so long since I've been able to get around to posting on this blog! So much is happening!
Today I am a featured vendor on "The Perfect Solutions" wedding blog !
Kathy Strukel is a good friend and has been planning weddings and corporate events in the Michiana area for several years. I am always relieved to know she and I are working an event together. It always makes my job so much easier!
The next event Kathy and I are working together on is U93's "Married By Michiana". I believe we find out this Wednesday who the lucky couple is.
I am also honored to have worked on the current issue of "Wedding Day" magazine. We had a gorgeous model at the fabulous Tippecanoe Place in South Bend. Along with the cover shot, there is an article that shows other beautiful dresses and accessories we photographed that day.
