I can't imagine a more perfect day! From the beautiful ceremony on Lake Michigan to Tippecanoe Place, and all the stops in between, it was sensational. Rich and Sonya were so much fun to work with.
I had a task to accomplish today, a very important one. Jerry Rice's #1 fan was out of town (Nick you know who you are), so I had to try to get an autograph for him. Dana was in the parade so I was out there with my camera and guess who is out there talking to people... Yes! Jerry! He let me get a couple of pics and was happy to give me the autograph! What a nice guy he is!
Robin and I followed the parade to the festival and had a ball for a couple of hours. It was a very nice day, although at the end Robin had a little mishap. A big "thank you" to all who helped her out! You guys were great!
For those of you who don't know yet, there is a beautiful new fine dining establishment the downtown South Bend area. The Macri family has recently opened the new "Carmela's". The food, wine, and company this evening at the ribbon cutting ceremony was a delight! We wish them all the best!
